EngineeringFormula does not require or offer account creation or login, and does not ask you for personal information to use any calculator. Calculator inputs you type are processed in your own browser to compute a result - they are not sent to or stored on our servers.

This site does use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which calculators are useful and how the site is used. Google Analytics collects information such as your approximate location (city-level, from a temporarily-used IP address that Google does not store), device and browser type, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you here. See Cookie Policy for the specific cookies this sets. EngineeringFormula does not currently run advertising, and does not currently use Google Analytics data for ad personalization.

Calculator values are handled client-side for the interactive result shown on the page. They are not submitted through an account, saved to a user profile, or used to identify a visitor. If that behavior changes in the future, this policy will be updated before the change goes live.

Like effectively any website, the hosting infrastructure that serves this site may keep standard technical web-server logs - for example IP address, browser type, and requested page - for security and operational purposes such as detecting abuse or diagnosing outages. These logs are a routine function of web hosting, not a feature this site adds deliberately, and are not used to build an advertising profile of you.

If EngineeringFormula adds advertising (for example Google AdSense) or any other technology that processes visitor data beyond what's described above, this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what's added, what data it involves, and what choices you have about it — including a cookie-consent choice for visitors where one is required. The Cookie Policy will be updated at the same time.

Google Analytics data is shared with Google, which processes it as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Beyond Google Analytics and the routine hosting-provider server logs described above, this site does not sell or share visitor data with third parties.

This site is a general engineering and physics reference and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes - particularly the addition of analytics or advertising - will be reflected here before they take effect.
